2024 marks 230 years of brewing at Palmers Brewery, and to celebrate, they have teamed up with Cask Marque to bring you an exciting Ale Trail. 

How it works

1) Download the CaskFinder App (Click here)

2) View details of the ale trail and the pubs involved. Upon visiting a pub, simply scan the QR code on the Cask Marque certificate displayed in the pub. The more pubs visited, the more prizes are awarded.

Looking for something exciting to keep you entertained and busy this Cask Ale Week?  Hop on a train and explore some of Timothy Taylor’s wonderful pubs.

Whether you’d like to travel via the heritage steam and diesel trains of the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, or you’d prefer to take the Northern commuter trains to the city of Leeds or to the towns and villages of North and West Yorkshire you’ll have a fabulous time. Each one of it’s pubs offers their own unique character, where a warm welcome, well-kept beer and a cosy atmosphere awaits.

The Castle Hill Crawl, a multi-venue beer festival held between 4 great pubs in the Castle Hill area of Cambridge: The Pickerel, The Castle Inn, The Architect and Sir Isaac Newton.

As well as over 150 Craft beers, Ales and ciders and delicious food offerings we will be hosting various events throughout the week from live music to tasting sessions, all raising money for our nominated local charities.

The Woodforde’s Ale Trail is back from September 6th and concludes on November 17th. 

Punters will be able to claim one sticker from each participating pub they buy a pint of Woodforde’s in, which can then be exchanged for a range of exciting prizes at our brewery shop. Booklets will be available in each participating pub.

Prizes include Woodforde’s merchandise and beer – while those that reach 72 stickers will be entered into a draw to win a bespoke Woodforde’s experience.

More than 200 pubs across the country are taking part across 12 counties – ranging from Norfolk to Nottinghamshire.
