Day 9 of Cask Ale Week’s Brewery of the Day is St Austell Brewery.

St Austell produce a range of award-winning beers crafted in our historic brewery that began in 1851. The founder, Walter Hicks mortgaged his farm for £1,500 to set up a new family business in St Austell and it is still family owned to date.

Over the past decade they have won over 250 awards and they credit their success the passion and talent of the exceptional brewing team. Balancing tradition with innovation, the best raw materials and high standards.
