Beer of the Day: Jiddlers Tipple + Fullers London Tipple

Today we’re handing out a Beer of the Day award we’ve never given before. Welcome to the Cask Ale Week Newcomer Award – and its first winner, Jiddler’s Tipple.
If you know Jacob Liddle, you’ll know he’s hardly a newcomer to great beer. He’s a certified Beer Sommelier, beer judge and Channel 4 Sunday Brunch beer expert, while the beers from his North London Jiddler’s Tipple have collected more than 40 awards. Swifty was crowned World’s Best Session IPA at the 2025 World Beer Awards, Sweet As Pacific IPA picked up Gold at the London Beer Competition, and there are plenty more medals where those came from. Jacob has built his reputation on modern, flavour-packed, lower-ABV craft beer – now he’s bringing that award-winning modern brewing approach to cask
And what a way to do it. London Tipple is a 4.1% collaboration with Fuller’s that brings two sides of London brewing together in one handpull. Inspired by the heritage malt bill of the legendary London Pride, Jacob and Fuller’s have given it a modern West Coast spin, bringing citrus, pithy orange and pine before a crisp, refreshing bitter finish. London brewing heritage meets modern craft beer – on cask. Oh, and it’s gluten-free too.
That’s what our Newcomer Award is really about. Not being new to beer, but bringing new energy, new ideas and new drinkers to cask. Jacob has previously said he’d love to see more people drinking cask because it’s Britain’s original craft beer. Well, he’s doing his bit. Congratulations to Jiddler’s Tipple and Fuller’s – and here’s to seeing what Jacob puts through a handpull next.
