Sunday 22nd September

Beerble Fish Brewery are making their debut at Stroud Green Market – beers to drink there and take away, including some of their Heritage Core Range.

The Old Brewery, Bridport, Dorset

Saturday 28th September

Palmers Brewery are celebrating their 225th anniversary with a party at the brewery.

There will be a bar offering a full line up of their award-winning cask ales, as well as ciders from Dorset Orchards. Customers will be also be able to enjoy a scrumptious hog roast, tours of the brewery and listen to live music from the Vinyl Monkeys.

Donations will also be collected on the day in support of the Minerva Learning Trust. 

 

Snooty Fox (Mildmay Ward, North London)

For this year’s Cask Ale Week, the Snooty Fox will be celebrating all things vegan.

Vegan beers available to try from craft breweries around the UK, paired with a range of vegan specials served all throughout Cask Ale Week.

The Fur & Feather Brewery (Woodbastwick, Norfolk)

Sunday 29th September

The Fur & Feather Brewery are celebrating the last day of Cask Ale Week (Sunday, September 29) with a special beer quiz hosted by Woodforde’s Brewery.

As customers enjoy a range of Woodforde’s beers in a taster flight, their knowledge on all things beer – from pub names and breweries to ingredients – will be tested.

 The quiz, which features a special Woodforde’s round, includes hot snacks, and a three beer taster flight at £5 per person entry. Maximum team numbers of 6.

 The winning team will receive an ‘ale-mazing’ prize of free beer alongside a brewery tour experience which includes lunch. This is as well as a prize for each winner of the round.

Chilli Cook-off with Special Brew

10 x Venues (Edinburgh)

Stewart Brewing are producing a special beer to complement the palettes of around 600 chilli con carne judges. The fiery competition sees 10 venues making chilli for judges who tour the venues eating chilli drinking some great quality beers and having a fun time!

 

Beer from the Wood (Belfast, Northern Ireland)

Saturday 28th September

Beer from the Wood are hosting a pub crawl around Belfast. Pub crawlers will make a noon start in The John Hewitt – Belfast Bar before moving onto other cask establishments around the city centre.

 

Moor Beer Company (Bristol)

Moor Beer Company are launching ‘Community Cask Thursday’ – a weekly event in time with Bristol Beer Week (13th to 22nd September) where discounts are offered to everyone who helps the community. This could apply to NHS workers, members of the fire service, police service, and armed service – or even just someone who has done a good deed on that day!

 

Butcombe Brewery (Bristol)

Thursday 19th and Tuesday 24th September

Butcombe Brewery are hosting two meet the brewer events. The Swan, Rowberrow is hosting the first of these on Thursday, 19th September. The Bower Inn, Bridgwater are hosting the second on Tuesday, 24th September. Both of these will include beer and food pairings and an opportunity to speak to the Head Brewer.

 

Ringwood Brewery (Ringwood, Hampshire)

Friday 27th September

Ringwood Brewery are hosting a general knowledge quiz night in their Brewery bar on Friday, 27th September.

Tickets are £5 person which includes all quiz papers, nibbles and one pint (or soft drink) on arrival!

 

Dawkins Ales (Bristol)

Dawkins Ales are also hosting an Ale Trail, linked in with Bristol Beer Week (13th to 22nd September), whereby if customers buy a pint of any Dawkins beer or cider at all five of Dawkins’ five Bristol pubs, they will receive a free Dawkins t-shirt.

 

The Chillingham Arms (Heaton, Newcastle)

As part of Cask Ale Week, The Chillingham Arms (Heaton, Newcastle), one of Sir John Fitzgerald’s pubs are hosting a month-long tap residency, starting on Thursday, 19th September, from McColl’s Brewery.

 

Stewart Brewing (Edinburgh)

Stewart Brewing are teaming up with Nicholson’s pubs as a series of cask beer showcases and Meet the Maker events hit the streets of Edinburgh from Monday, September 16th to Sunday, October 27th.

 

Moorhouse’s Brewery (Burnley)

Friday, 20th September

Food and drink writer, Katie Mather, is going into the brewery to brew her own ale on Moorehouse’s pilot kit.

 

The Peal O’Bells (Wrexham)

Saturday 21st September

As part of the Wrexham Ale Trail, The Peal O’ Bells will have 8 real ales on tap!

The Five Bells (Eastry, Sandwich, Kent)

The Five Bells are hosting a number of events during Cask Ale Week. These include:

  • Thursday, 19th September – ‘Meet the Brewer’ (from Goody Ales) night from 6pm to 8pm. This also includes ‘steak night’ consisting of 2 rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £30.
  • Thursday, 26th September – ‘Meet the Brewer’ (from The Canterbury Ales) night from 6pm to 8pm.
  • Friday, 27th September – ‘Quiz night’. An 8pm start is accompanied by a round on Cask Ale.

 

The Woolly Sheep Inn (Skipton, North Yorkshire)

The Woolly Sheep Inn are hosting a mouth-watering cheese and beer pairing session to celebrate Cask Ale Week on Sunday, 29th September (from 12pm to 5pm). A range of Timothy Taylor’s award-winning beers will accommodate four gorgeous cheeses from across the UK.

Whitelock Ale House, Leeds will celebrate with 11 cask lines on the bar during Cask Ale Week. This includes house beers from Kirkstall Brewery Co, Timothy Taylors. Threakston Brewery, The Five Points.

 

Batemans Brewery (Skegness)

During Cask Ale Week, Batemans Brewery (Skegness) will be discounting their Dark Fruits Porter by 10% in their Visitors Centre bar. On September 22nd, Batemans will be pricing their Brewery Tours (held at 11am and 2pm) at two for the price of 1!

Nicholson’s (London and other key cities)

Nicholson’s are launching their free pint offer during Cask Ale Week. In order to claim a free pint of Nicholson’s Pale Ale, Doom bar, London Pride – or any cask beer from the fine Cask Ale Festival selection – all consumers have to do is to download the CaskFinder App, register with the World’s Biggest Ale Trail, and check out the Nicholson’s offer.

 

West Berkshire Brewery

West Berkshire Brewery will be running a deal in their Taproom – 12pm to 3pm – from Tuesday, 24th September to Friday, 27th September. 3 x burger sliders (chicken/beef/lamb) will be paired with 3 thirds of cask ale.

Trade customers will also be offered a special deal on 9G firkins of Good Old Boy 4% Best Bitter from Monday, 16th September to Sunday, 29th September.

 

Black Sheep Brewery (North Yorkshire)

Black Sheep Brewery will have a range of Black Sheep and York Brewery cask ales pouring throughout the Week at The Visitor Centre in Masham.

 

Steel Coulson Tap (Edinburgh)

Steel Coulson Tap are offering their customers something new this Cask Ale Week with a ‘Tasting Trio’ of any 3x cask third pints for £3. There are six ales to choose from, including Dawkins Ales and guest ales.

 

Swan Brewery (Herefordshire)

Swan Brewery are celebrating Cask Ale Week with a ‘Tasting Day’ (including food and Cask Ale) from 9am to 9pm on Friday, 20th September.

 

The Banningham Crown (Banningham, Norfolk)

From Thursday, 19th September to Sunday, 22nd September, the Banningham Crown will be putting forward a deal where if customers purchase 2 pints of cask ale, they will receive 50p off a pint.

 

The Minster Inn Alehouse (York)

The Minster Inn Alehouse are donating 20p, of every Cask Ale pint sold, to the Alzheimer’s Society during Cask Ale Week.

Arcadia are celebrating Cask Ale Week with a number of casks available on the bar.

 

The Hatchett Inn (Bristol)

The Hatchett Inn are inviting customers to come down and try the real ale trio of Butcombe Original, Butcombe Gold and Butcombe Seasonal during Cask Ale Week.

 

The New Inn (Buxton)

The New Inn are selling a range of Cask Ales and bottled beers during Cask Ale Week. They’re also putting forward a ‘loyalty card’ offer of buy 5 pints and get a 6th free. As well as this, if customers buy a steak & ale pie meal (£7), they can add a pint of cask ale for just £2.

Cask ale beer bats are also available for 3×1/3 pint cask ales for £3.30.

 

J W Lees Brewery (Greater Manchester)

J W Lees Brewery are celebrating Cask Ale Week, and encouraging trial of cask ale, by sending their customer database an offer of a free pint of cask ale – which will be redeemable throughout the Week in any of their Managed Houses.

 

The Modern Cask Fest (Liverpool)

The Mordern Cask Flask will serve a range of cask ale in the Gibberish Brewpub (Liverpool) during Friday, 20th September and Saturday, 21st September.
